จะไปเรียนต่อ ปริญญาเอกที่ University of Basel อ่ะค่ะ แต่ว่าทางมหาลัยไม่มีที่พักให้ต้องหาเอง หามาหนึ่งอาทิตย์แล้ว ทั้ง shared flat ทั้งห้อง studio หาไม่ได้เลย พยายามใช้ทั้ง google map, google translate ช่วยก็ยังไม่ได้ ใครมีที่ไหนแนะนำให้บ้างคะ ไปทุนรัฐบาลค่ะเรื่อง finacial document ไม่น่ามีปัญหา แต่จะมีก็เรื่องที่พักอ่ะค่ะ และรบกวนถามอีกอย่างนึงว่าได้ค่าใช้จ่ายรายเดือน 1800 CHF นี่อยู่ไหวไหมคะ

if u r living here 4 years u dont have to use bus or tram its expensive buy a 2nd hand Bike is better that y i asked u do u mind not to stay in center or near the Uni.

public transport in basel (tram-bus) is quiet more expensive than the other cities ( i think) bcoz baselcity is not too big like zurich or geneva 3 bus stop cost 2fr. one way only..1 zone start 3fr. also 1 way and only 2km if more than 2 km u have to pay more
in zurich 1zone also 3fr. but city of zurich is bigger than basel.
monthly ticket cost 68fr.
i try to help you to save money here coz 1800fr.you will get its super hard to live here if not included room rent its will be ok.
i hope and wishing that thai lady's house still available bcoz u dont have to pay deposit and from her house to uni basel is very easy with a tram no.3 direct infront of Uni basel..dont be too serious too much nakub.
i promise i will help u till you find a place to stay and not too expensive

เข้าเรื่องก่อนนะคะ เรื่องที่พักของแป้งนั้น ทางเลขาของ professor เป็นคนติดต่อให้ค่ะ เป็น hostel ในเครือของโรงพยาบาล แป้งคิดว่าน่าจะเป็น choice ที่ดีมากสำหรับคุณ maddog นะคะ ราคาประมาณ 650 CHF ต่อเดือนค่ะ (มีหลายราคาให้เลือก) คราวนี้แป้งไม่แน่ใจว่าถ้าคนนอกจองเอง เค้าจะอนุญาติหรือเปล่า คุณ maddog ลองเอา e-mail ที่พักที่นี่ไปก่อนนะคะ

วันนี้มาแจ้งข่าวคราวการหาบ้านของ Maddog นะคะ ตอนนี้ confirm ที่พักที่ Mittlere Strasse 68 ไปแล้วค่ะเป็นที่พักของ Hospital University Basel ราคา 530 CHF (hxxp: www. hostel-uhbs. ch/en/liegenschaften/mittlerestrasse68. html) เพราะที่พักแบบของน้องแป้งที่ Mittlere Strasse 39 ที่ราคา 650 เต็มจนถึงปี 2010 โน่นแนะแต่ไม่เป็นไรอยู่ได้ใกล้คณะนิดเดียว แต่ว่าวันที่ 1 ธันวาคม ต้องย้ายออกเพราะว่าห้องเต็มจนถึง 31 ธันวาคม แล้วค่อยย้ายเข้ามาใหม่ในวันที่ 1 มกราคม 2009 เลยต้องหาที่พักชั่วคราวได้ที่พักที่เป็นแบบ B&B ที่อบู่บนถนนเดียวกัน Mittlere Strasse 121 (ห่างจากเดิมประมาณ 200 เมตร) แล้วเขาใจดีลดราคาให้คืนละ 30 CHF เลยตัดใจพักที่นั่นช่วงที่โดนไส่ที่

asked all thai friends and some farang friends also that thai woman who wants a joiner.they all siad sorry its difficult..but u can find 555..great
the add. is not far from me abt 5 mins walk nakub and not too far from Uni u can walk BUT in winter its not funny to walk even 5 mins out door.
this street is about 2 bus lines walk abt 5 mins too
i'm not sure do u have to pay deposit or not bcoz u will stay quite long time, before move in READ the contact abt the room rent carfully .
i dont know u can speak german or not if not sure ask yr prof. if the contact in german..95% document here are in german NO english accepted bank or some companies.
its a bit difficult for us my german also not good

ความสำเร็จในการหาที่พักได้ต้องยกความดีให้กับน้องแป้ง เพราะทีแรกไม่ได้คิดถึงที่พักที่ University Hospital Basel เลยค่ะพอเราเมลล์ใบสมัครไปเขากับตอบกลับทันทีแม้จะไม่ได้ห้องที่ต้องการ ก็ถือว่าโชคดีเขาบอกว่าเดือนธันวาคมห้องเต็มหมดแต่เขาก็จะให้เป็น waiting list เอาไว้ เราก็กังวลกลัวจะไม่มีที่อยู่ในช่วงนั้นเลยพยายามหา hostel ที่ไม่แพงมากแล้วก็อยู่ไม่ไกลจากที่เดิมเพราะต้องย้ายของไปมาเลยได้ที่ B&B Mittlere Strasse (hxxp: ch-basel. concentrator. net/tosc2/tosc/show_ServiceProvider. asp?RG=IT&ID=82001585&SPTyp=1) ราคาพอรับได้(แม้ว่าจะแพงมากอยู่) แล้วยังต้องอยู่คนเดียวในช่วงปีใหม่อีกท่าทางจะสาหัสแน่ในเดือนธันวาคม

I am already in Basel right now. It is very quiet city, veryyyyyyyy quiettttttt.(sometimes I feel like living in the library :-X) but any other things is fine right now (so far so good). Most people here (in the hospital and in the laboratory) is very nice to me.
The important problem is the Deutsch, in here everything is Deutsch. 5555 (I have no idea I will love English this much) and the other problem of mine is I cannot connect to the internet from the hostel (I think it is the same in P' Maddog hostel naka) so I feel a little bit lonely sometimes, and many plans that I prepared from Thailand have to be cancelled such as Skype programme or watching TV via the internet :-[ but anyway, it will be better and I do not stop trying to fond the way to connect the internet from my hostel ;D Would anybody has some suggestion?
